ABOUT LUMINA
Built for the woman who was told she was fine — but knew she wasn’t.
Lumina Health & Wellness was created to bring hormones, metabolism, mood, sleep, and lifestyle back into one connected clinical picture.
WHERE IT STARTED
It started in the Air Force.
I began my nursing career in the United States Air Force, on a medical-surgical unit, caring mostly for older patients managing the long arc of chronic disease.
What stayed with me wasn't any single case. It was the pattern. So many of the people I cared for might never have ended up on that unit if the system had worked upstream — if someone had treated the years before the crisis with the same seriousness we brought to the crisis itself. We were good at intervening. We were not built to prevent.
The Air Force also gave me something I still rely on every day: discipline, follow-through, and respect for a plan that's actually executed instead of merely written. That's not a tagline for me. It's how I was trained to work, and it's how Lumina runs.
Care that sees you as one connected person.
Your labs are read against what's optimal for a woman in midlife — not just whether you fall inside a reference range. There's a meaningful difference, and it changes the plan.
Dual board certification in family and psychiatric care means hormones, metabolism, mood, and sleep are evaluated together — in one clinical relationship, not across three separate referrals.
Cash-pay by design. Long-form visits, not fifteen-minute appointments. Real depth requires real time, and that is what you will get.
The six pillars of lifestyle medicine — nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, relationships, and substance use — are addressed alongside clinical care, not as an afterthought.
What we believe about care.
Clinical Depth
Lumina is built around real clinical depth. We order the labs that actually answer the question — not just the ones that get reimbursed. We look upstream of every symptom. We refuse to accept "your labs are normal" as the end of the conversation when you clearly aren't normal.
And we translate what we find into language you can actually use, because you deserve a clinician who respects you enough to explain what's happening in your own body.
Whole-Person Integration
Most women in midlife are sent to one provider for their hormones, another for their mood, another for their sleep, another for their weight — and somehow expected to coordinate the whole picture themselves.
Lumina is built differently. As a dual-certified family and psychiatric nurse practitioner with advanced training in lifestyle and hormone medicine, I hold the entire connected picture of your health in one relationship. You don't have to assemble your own care team. We do this together.
Honest Accountability
Real transformation requires real ownership. We will not hand you a prescription without addressing what's underneath it, accept "your labs are normal" when you clearly aren't, or let you drift through the program without the follow-through you came here for.
We hold the standard with warmth, never with judgment. Working with Lumina is a partnership — and it's the kind of honest, grounded partnership most women have been quietly searching for, sometimes for years.
Restoration Through Partnership
You are not a passive recipient of someone else's protocol. You are the protagonist of your own healing. Lumina equips you with the science, the plan, and the partnership — and then walks the path with you, ninety days at a time.
We celebrate your wins as your wins. We hand you tools you'll keep long after the program ends. The goal isn't to make you dependent on us. The goal is to give you back to yourself.
Care With Conviction
The work we do at Lumina is, for us, more than a business. We see each woman as a whole person — with a body that deserves real medicine, a mind that deserves real attention, and a story that deserves to be heard.
We hold that regard whether you share our convictions or not. Whatever your beliefs, you will experience the depth of care that comes from being treated as fully human in a healthcare system that often forgets to.
